More regions added to EVV pilot

DADS has updated the Electronic Visit Verification website: In preparation for the implementation of the EVV system in DADS Regions 2 (Abilene, Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas) and DADS Region 4 (Longview, Tyler and the surrounding areas), CDS Employers have a variety of ways to obtain training , including: • Independent Web-Based Training - take at your own pace • Webinar Training - you can register for this training on the DADS EVV website now • Classroom Training - offered at specific times and locations CDS Employers, or their Designated Representatives, are required to complete at least one of the above trainings before the Consumer Directed Services Agency (CDSA) can give access to the system. On February 1, 2011 all CDS Employers using the following services, in Regions 2 & 4 will be required to use the EVV system: • personal assistance services and in-home respite in the Community Based Alternatives Program (CBA); • residential habilitation and in-home respite in the Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) Program; • in-home respite and adjunct services provided by an attendant in the Medically Dependent Children Program; • Primary Home Care Program (PHC); • Community Attendant Services (CAS) program; and • Family Care services program (FC).
